Summer 07

Petra Hi All,

We are back in Israel and ready to resume our travels. July saw us going to Vancouver for five weeks to see our children and three grand children. The newest, just a month old when we arrived home, named Callum. It was a busy time seeing them and all our friends, catching up on the news and enjoying all of their hospitality. We spent a couple of days in Calgary to visit our daughter who is doing well with her nursing and new life with Derek. They came over to Vancouver for a week and we took them up to Desolation Sound for some relaxation, swimming and catching some prawns. We needed more time to do all we wanted but at least we managed to catch up with most everyone.

Next it was off to Ireland on Aug the 08th for Marians mothers 90th birthday which was attended by most all the family. 75 adults plus 30 something grand children and great grand children all at Ballytrent which is a long time summer home. A great time was had by all and Jamie and Mary did a fabulous job taking care of us all.

We left Ireland on the 16th for Frankfurt where Valerie and Jens took care of us for five days showing us their beautiful city and country areas. Lots of wine and good food. Then it was back to Herzliya where we found Kilkea well taken care of. Now we are reprovisioning her for our upcoming trip to Cyprus and then back to Turkey. First though we are going to Jerusalem for a couple of days. Everyone needs a holiday!!!!!!
