Yes we are still alive and well. We are about half way through our visit back home and have been having a great time. It seems we just slip back into our shore life so easily and it is like our sailing life has just been a dream. The family are all well and we have had lots of fun with the grand kids with trips over to Calgary. At the house we have been busy with the chain saw logging off some of the trees that have grown just too big. Amazing what happen here in the west coast rain forest especially when you have been away for all these years. I have Kilkea, the power boat version, up and ready to go and plan to head up the coast for three weeks or so. The fishing is supposed to be great this year so we are looking forward to that and doing some prawning, shucking a few oysters and catching a few Dungeness crabs. It should be a lot of fun especially as we are into the longest days of the year and the sun sets around nine thirty and it doesn't get dark until much later. Great for BBQ and putting a sweater on as the evening approaches and meeting up with some of our old boating friends on the west coast. We are enjoying the fresh air and cooler temperatures.
